Girls join Rapunzel in magical adventures -- using their creativity and imagination -- to restore beauty to the enchanted castle and save the kingdom in time for the Masquerade Ball. Designed for girls ages five and older, Barbie as Rapunzel CD-ROM: A Creative Adventure ships this fall, in conjunction with the animated video premiere of Barbie™ as Rapunzel The Movie from Artisan Family Home Video. As girls embark on their interactive quest, they must try to break Gothel's spell that has stripped the life, creativity and color from every room of the beautiful castle, scattered the gems of Prince Stefan's crown and turned the handsome prince into stone. Sparking girls' artistry and imagination, Rapunzel and her purple dragon friend Penelope prompt players to return the castle to its former splendor and search for the missing gems to bring the prince back to life. Using magic paints, animated stickers and sparkles, girls will redecorate all of the castle's rooms including the Ball Room, Royal Gardens, Grand Entrance and more. The evil spell is broken once the castle rooms are transformed, the hidden gems are found and Prince Stefan is brought back to life. Finally, girls help Rapunzel dress for the Masquerade Ball, escorting her to the enchanting event for a "happily ever after." In Barbie as Rapunzel CD-ROM: A Creative Adventure, girls will play eight charming interactive games including: Magical Mosaics - Make a colorful mosaic for the Grand Foyer Design a Throne - Design new thrones for Rapunzel and Prince Stefan Rugs of Royalty - Craft an amazing rug design for the dining room Magical Masquerade - Fashion Rapunzel's mask for the Masquerade Ball Princess Paintings - Create stunning animated paintings Flower Fantasy - Produce beautiful flowers and plant them in the Royal Garden Princess Dress-up - Help Rapunzel dress for the Masquerade Ball Garden Maze - Guide Rapunzel through the maze to bring the prince back to life Girls will use the Magic Paint Box to get through each creative adventure of open-ended activities. Filled with special tools, the Magic Paint Box will allow girls to change objects with the Magic Wand; paint and add textures with the Magic Paint Brush; animate objects like candlesticks and clocks with Living Stickers; and bring objects back to life with a dash of Twinkle Sprinkles. Girls can save and play back pictures of their restored castle with the Magic Memory Scrapbook and even print their creations for hours of off-line entertainment.
