Make a Fruit Smoothie

Rev up your favorite conditioner by adding nature's best moisturizers: fruit! These free homemade hair care remedies are easy to make and can work wonders for your hair.
Banana Smoothie Conditioner
to moisturize hair and treat problem scalps
In a blender, combine one well-chopped organic banana with 2 oz. of milk.
Add 4 oz. of conditioner and blend well. Apply to wet hair and scalp, then cover with a heating cap or sit in the sun for up to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Strawberry Smoothie Conditioner
to detox hair and add moisture
Blend 4 chopped strawberries with 4 oz. of conditioner. Work into wet hair and scalp and leave on for up to 20 minutes before rinsing. Cover hair with a warm towel or heating cap for extra conditioning.
Avocado & Honey Smoothie Treatment
to bring hair back to life with deep moisture
Blend half of an avocado, two ounces of honey and 4 oz. of deep treatment conditioner. Apply to wet hair and cover with a warm towel, heating cap, or sit in the sun for 20 minutes.
Papaya & Lemon Shampoo Smoothie
to add brilliant shine to lifeless locks
In a blender, combine 1/4 papaya with 1/2 lemon. Gently fold mixture into 2 oz. shampoo. On wet hair, work mixture into a later and leave on for a few minutes before thoroughly rinsing.
Aloe Gel Leave-in Smoothie
for extra protection from the sun
Add 1 Tablespoon of aloe vera gel to 1 Tablespoon of leave-in conditioner. Apply to wet hair and style as usual.
