is our new line of exceptionally mild and fragrant
soaps that are as lovely to give as to receive.
In fact, for each soap purchased, we'll donate one to a person in need through our Suds With Love program.
The name SavonClaire is French for "clear soap." Unlike some "clear" or "glycerine" soaps on the market, ours contain no Tetrasodium EDTA or Tetrasodium Etidronate, two questionable ingredients used to make some brands of clear soap.
Instead, we make our clear soap using a 200-year old hot process method, boiling it in natural corn ethanol and pure cane sugar to render it clear. Once each bar is completely dry, there is no ethanol left in the finished bar. What is left is the mildest and most fragrant soaps possible.
Fragrances: We
use two types of scents in SavonClaire soaps:
essential oils and fragrance oils. Essential oils
are the volatile oils that are extracted directly
from flowers and plants. Fragrance oils are perfumes
that can contain both natural and created scent
elements.
All of our fragrance oils are phthalate-free.
Pthalates are a group of chemical compounds that are
used in some fragrance oils as fragrance
stabilizers. A debate continues to rage over whether
phthalates are harmful to humans. That's why we've
decided to use only fragrance oils that are free
from phthalates... so you don't have to worry about
safety when using our product.
